Women Exceed Expectations at SUNYAC's; Youthful Men Can't Put it TogetherPublished by
The Plattsburgh State Women's team came out firing at the SUNYAC Championships. Amy McCasland lead the way setting a personal best in the semi for the 400m dash and then setting another PR in the final with a 58.48. She also placed 5th in the 200 and anchored the 4x400 relay. Jackie Boyea won the Javelin with a PR throw of 37.83m. Senior Stephanie Adamczyk set the school record in the Hammer with a big PR, she threw it 41.62m.
The men's team stumbled a bit in reaching their goals but still had some solid performances across the board. Full results for both genders can be found at http://employees.oneonta.edu/lopiccmj/SUNYACTrack.htm .
